Jr Developer at The Basement

The Developer will join our accomplished technical team to participate in the architecture, development, testing, and launching of high performance web and digital marketing solutions for a wide range of clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience creating engaging digital experiences for front-end web applications
• Experience developing with client-side web technologies (JS/CSS/HTML, AJAX, JSON)
• Strong working knowledge and experience with JavaScript libraries
• Experience with cross-browser/mobile compatibility and coding techniques
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Proven track record of delivering complete solutions within realistic budget and schedule requirements
• Detailed understanding of UX and visual design
• An eye for motion design, animation and timing
• Passion for seeking out, learning and adapting to new technologies
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Ability and desire to work and thrive within a fast-paced environment

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in an agency environment
• Strong development experience in WordPress CMS
• Working knowledge of front-end preprocessors
• Full working knowledge of Git
• Full Adobe Creative Suite

JOB SUMMARY

The Developer will join our accomplished technical team to participate in the architecture, development, testing, and launching of high performance web and digital marketing solutions for a wide range of clients. The developer should have expertise with a wide range of front-end development tools, marketing technologies and outstanding communication skills, which will be critical while working alongside our unparalleled integrated teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build engaging interactive experiences across a multitude of platforms and devices
• Work and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to achieve the highest quality solutions/experiences.
• Provide technical insight to both internal and external teams to guide the architecture of digital solutions.
• Research, recommend and build proof-of-concept solutions for emerging technologies to enhance user interactions.
• Maintain leading-edge knowledge of digital technologies and the role these tools can play in client initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
