Jr Developer at Hello World

We are looking for Junior web developers with 0-2 years of web application development experience. How you came into the field doesn't matter and a degree is not required, but proven problem-solving skills will need to be visible in your portfolio or work history.

Basic Requirements:

• 1. Programming languages: We primarily use PHP and Javascript frameworks. Drupal and React are the primary ones respectively. We also work with Laravel and WordPress
• 2. Database knowledge: SQL, MySQL preferred
• 3. Knowledge of Linux environment, Git, and Agile Development environment
• 4. Must be positive, versatile, and a problem solver
• 6. Driven with a sense of personal responsibility

Skills: As a part of our team, you will either be familiar with or learn the following skills:

• Hands-on experience in standard web frameworks and languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP)
• Knowledge of standard web service development frameworks and methodologies (MVC, OOP, and RESTful)
• Experience with standard SQL
• Familiar with UI design frameworks such as: jQuery, Bootstrap, Foundation, React, AngularJS
• Experience with Ajax, JSON, and APIs.
