Summary

At Lotic, our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Jr. Content Specialist, you’ll be part of our writer’s room, brainstorming, proofreading, researching, and writing select assignments for the Lotic app, website, and social channels. Lotic’s original content sits at the intersection of entertainment, infotainment, and a new form of social media engagement. A Jr. Content Specialist is part of the content team, reporting to the Senior Creative Team.

Responsibilities

Undertake prescribed writing assignments across all platforms, while following the Lotic writing guidelines

Work with subject matter experts in the mental health field to translate material into informative, entertaining, and digestible pieces of written, visual, and video content in collaboration with graphic designers, illustrators, and filmmakers

• Help with story or topic research, when needed
• Help generate creative ideas for content including social posts, consumer-facing blogs, and marketing material on mental health and well-being
• Participate in content team and company-wide meetings
• Assist other content specialists in the research and setup of documentation and content matrix
• Assist in UI copywriting
• Assist with CMS (content management system) tasks

Location and Benefits

This role operates in a hybrid remote environment, with a preference for candidates in the commuting areas of Los Angeles, CA, Austin, TX, or Toronto, Canada. Regardless of home base location, regular travel is expected for meetings, workshops, or team engagement activities considered most effective in person.
