We are seeking a talented, experienced TypeScript engineer to join our Lexia CMS team. We are using the Contentful headless CMS to create new backend applications to power some of our existing products.


Job Requirements:

  • 6+ years of production-level software development experience
  • Strong command of Nodejs, TypeScript, JSON and data transformation
  • Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or other unit testing frameworks
  • Experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment
  • Familiarity with a distributed source control system, such as Git
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to work well on a team as well as independently
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Nice to have

Contentful experience is a nice-to-have


Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented, experienced TypeScript engineer to join our Lexia CMS team. We are using the Contentful headless CMS to create new backend applications to power some of our existing products.

You will collaborate closely with other members of the CMS team to plan, scope and build out new features in Contentful and our TypeScript codebases while also working to refine and iterate on existing features.

Developing in a SAFe (Agile) environment you will define, scope, and plan your work to bring internally facing features to our stakeholders.

Location:

  • We understand people want flexibility where they work. This position can be fully remote within the USA (EST schedule preferred). Access to our Concord, MA headquarters is an option.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable code that is well-tested and well-documented
  • Troubleshoot JSON import and export issues to and from Contentful as well as dependent applications
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed
  • Work within a SAFe (Agile) environment to plan and manage tasks
  • Share technical expertise with fellow team members
  • Keep up to date on existing and emerging technologies
