Graphic Designer / Art Director at X-UP
We're looking for an exceptionally talented, dependable, hard-working individual to create graphics for every episode on our channel.
As a youtube video editor, For each episode, you'll receive the following:
- A rough cut, with green screens where the graphics will appear.
- A document that has (simple, bare-bones) descriptions of desired graphics for specific time ranges in the video. (Again, use the 3 reference episodes as an indicator of the quantity and complexity of graphics in each video.)
- You will then create preliminary graphics for the whole episode, using your own creativity and resourcefulness to make the graphics as interesting and appealing as possible.
- (We'll give you access to our Shutterstock account for stock images / illustrations - and you can also pull from the internet.)
- Within a day of getting your graphics, we'll send some notes for revisions.
- As we work together, the need for revisions should shrink to almost zero, as you develop a clearer understanding of what we're looking for, and we get better at communicating it.
- Your pay will be based on the length of the video.
- It will be $150 multiplied by the length of the video in minutes.
- So, for example—for an episode that is 10 minutes and 30 seconds long, you would receive $1,575. That would include all revisions.
- (Paid via Venmo as soon as episode is completed.)
- For a typical episode (14 minutes long), we'd need to receive all graphics within 72 hours.
- We hope to be able to get on a consistent schedule which would mean you're working the same days every week.
- (However, there will be some variation in episode length. Some will be shorter, and some will be much longer.)
- You'll be working directly with the creator. See more about him at http://mike.bio
- (Note that he's worked for many years as a creative director, and he's used to working with exceptional talented creatives in such a way that they thrive and deliver their best work on a consistent basis.)
