What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related major, or commensurate experience
  • Minimum 4 years of development experience
  • Experience developing in Python, Django, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS required
  • Experience with AWS technologies: Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and Kinesis required
  • Experience with infrastructure as code deployments using Terraform and HCL
  • Experience with development of Microsoft Office Plugins

What is ideal?

  • Experience in programming in modern, mainstream languages, such as Golang, Ruby, Node/NPM
  • Experience with XML or JSON
  • Experience implementing and working in a continuous integration (CI) or continuous development (CD) pipeline
  • Experience with automation and cloud management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, helm, Kubernetes
  • Experience in systems programming in Microsoft operating systems

Job Description

The Microsoft Developer will be the primary developer for multiple customer-facing software applications satisfying a variety of cybersecurity tool requirements. The Developer will work in a diverse and distributed research and development team to contribute to leading-edge software tools, support open-source software initiatives, and work directly with federal and commercial customers to understand and refine requirements and demonstrate capabilities.

What you get to do every day:

  • Lead development projects for design and build of custom Microsoft Outlook plugins and integrations
  • Develop in Government Community Cloud (GCC) environments using NodeJS with the Yeoman method
  • Support development of data collection, transformation, and analysis tools in Azure or AWS serverless environments
  • Support data visualization and automation‐oriented development projects
  • Support systems development projects in Microsoft operating systems
  • Work in teams in support of new and ongoing software projects
  • Engage stakeholders to help develop requirements

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $125-150k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
