Full Stack Engineer at laetro

Laetro is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience in Reactjs, Nextjs, Rails, and Ruby on Rails. This role will report to Laetro's Director of Engineering. The successful candidate will overlap +/- 4 hours with Laetro's US PST workday, starting at 8am. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web AI applications.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable web applications.

• Implement user interfaces using ReactJS and Next.js, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Rails and Ruby on Rails, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the entire stack, from frontend to backend.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, Rails, and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• High proficiency in English.
