Full Stack Developer at Quest Diagnostics
As a member of the Quest Diagnostics Software Engineering team you will work closely with other software engineers, testers and product owners to provide technical leadership, and develop & deploy workflows that enable automated high throughput applications for Quest’s specialty genetics laboratories.
Requirement
- B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of object-oriented programming
- At least 4 years of MySQL or equivalent database development and programming experience
- Experience in React, Node.js, Python, JavaScript
- Knowledge of Typescript is a plus
- Experience in creating and deploying APIs in Mulesoft is a plus
- Significant experience in unit, integration, and functional test development
- Web application fundamentals with HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- Good understanding of source code management using Gitlab, Github or Git in an Agile DevOps CI/CD environment.
- A good understanding of Unix/Linux fundamentals (Ubuntu, Redhat/CentOS or Debian), basic networking principles and scripting
- Willingness to learn, debug and work at solving challenging, yet fun problems.
- Understanding of genetic data differentiates you

Full Stack Developer, the role:

- Develop back end, front end and API integration layers in an Agile DevOps workflow
- Connect to MySQL/SQLServer databases
- Use Docker to build environment independent software
- Build dashboards and reports
- Build solutions for On-prem and AWS cloud
- Support test-driven devlopment and documentation
