The Role

The Growth & Marketing team at Trilitech is the engine that helps drive growth for Tezos. As a Frontend Web Developer, you will work in a Product-Design-Engineering trio responsible for bringing to life the Tezos narrative through Tezos.com and other websites in the ecosystem.

If you enjoy building frontend web experiences, are passionate about development and emerging technology, and are an expert using React, then you are the kind of person we are looking for. You will be working with an equally talented and innovative team with the goal of building seamless user experiences and elevating the Tezos brand.

What you'll do

  • Understanding the latest frontend technologies and practices, ensuring that the application is built with efficiency, scalability, and user-centric design in mind
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages, especially React and its ecosystem (including React Hooks, Context, and Redux for state management)
  • Applying best practices for effective communication and problem-solving within the team
  • Implementing clean, efficient code based on specifications and design patterns for React applications
  • Collaborating closely with UX/UI designers to bring web designs to life
  • Writing reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
  • Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Owning the responsibility for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the site’s frontend
  • Documenting application changes and developing updates
  • Providing technical guidance and support to other team members
  • Sharing knowledge, and contributing to team meetings and troubleshooting
  • Engaging in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster a culture of learning and improvement

What you'll need

  • Previous experience in developing user-facing web applications with React.js, including familiarity with its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
  • Proven skills with React tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and React Router
  • Additional experience with modern frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Node.js) and CSS preprocessors (such as Sass or LESS) is also valuable
  • Evidence of designing and implementing frontend components for successful web development projects
  • Demonstrable ability to write clean, efficient, and accessible code in a team environment
