Frontend UI/UX Developer at iMMAP

We need one to Design and implement user interface and user experience (UI/UX) for iMMAP Careers, including layout, navigation, and visual design.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
• Experience developing web applications
• Strong proven experience with React and JavaScript
• Experience with UI/UX design and best practices
• Experience working with UI/UX tools such as FIgma
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) and responsive design
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience with testing and debugging UI issues
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
• Understanding of web development best practices and performance optimization techniques
• A portfolio of relevant work samples is a plus.

Background

Under the supervision of the Head of Innovation, Business Development and Technology and as part of iMMAP Careers development team, you will lead on the development of new features, maintenance of the current product and potential upgrades to code base and infrastructure as well as maintaining all project documentation.

Description of Duties

• Work with the Head of Innovation, Business Development and Technology, the HR team, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that iMMAP Careers fits stakeholders’ requirements
• Design and implement user interface and user experience (UI/UX) for iMMAP Careers, including layout, navigation, and visual design.
• Collaborate with the product and development teams to understand and implement user requirements, identify user needs and pain points, and provide solutions to improve the user experience.
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components that can be easily integrated into iMMAP’s internal HR management system.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance by testing the system on multiple browsers and devices and making necessary adjustments.
• Test and debug UI issues across different browsers and devices, and provide solutions to fix any issues that arise.
• Integrate APIs and ensure interoperability with other platformsContinuously improve the design and user experience of the system by staying up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends and technologies and incorporating them into the system.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of the UI/UX design and development process, including design specifications, wireframes, and user flow diagrams.
• Communicate effectively with the development team and other stakeholders throughout the project, including providing regular progress updates and addressing any issues that arise.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies, trends and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to other team members as required.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code is maintainable and scalable.
• Ensure that the end product is in line with iMMAP's design guidelines and standards.
• Advise and support other iMMAP software development projects as required

Requirements
