What We Expect You to Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years relevant work experience
• Strong Javascript skills, and experience with modern Javascript frameworks, libraries, and architecture (Angular/React/Vue)
• Strong familiarity working with REST APIs
• Familiarity with version control, especially Git
• Experience in modern web stacks and architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points

• Exposure to AWS
• Experience with Ionic or other hybrid frameworks
• Experience working with back-end/full stack code bases or mobile development
• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture or Microservices
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, and Jasmine

The Front-End Software Engineer will be working with the EatStreet Engineering Team to build and improve driver, restaurant, and customer facing digital products, including the EatStreet Marketplace, Restaurant Application, Driver Application, and other related technologies. Front end development across the technology stack generally centers on JavaScript and utilizes frameworks like Angular and Ionic.

• Work with development team and product manager to plan software solutions
• Design high-quality client-side architecture
• Develop and manage well-functioning applications
• Create robust unit testing to ensure efficiency and responsiveness
• Get feedback from and build solutions for end users and customers
• Optimize web pages and applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
