Front-end Developer at VC3

As a front-end developer, you’ll join a team of designers and developers in creating and maintaining Drupal websites for municipalities.

Here's what we need from you:

• Planning, developing, and iteratively improving website interfaces.
• 3+ years of experience with UI/UX and front-end web development.
• Proficiencies with front-end development languages including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG 2).
• Care about code quality and taking ownership of reliable and interactable websites.
• Experience with Content Management Systems such as Drupal.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with a team and clients.
• Time-management skills to work on a variety of tasks and support tickets.
• A portfolio that demonstrates the understanding of how end users interact with simple websites.

These are the technical skills that you will need to have:

• Familiarity with common front-end development languages including SASS and Twig.
• Proficiencies with front-end developer tools including Git, npm, and Grunt.
• Experience with wireframing and design mock-up tools such as Figma.

And, here is some additional info you will want to know:

• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
