Front End Developer at Irdeto

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries.
• Translating designs and wireframes into code.
• Optimizing web experience for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.

How you can add value to the team?

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of Typescript and React.js and their core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AWS.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Familiarity with Testing Methodologies and or Automated Testing is a plus.
• Experienced in backend development in python and similar is a plus.
• Experienced with AWS or Azure cloud deployment is a plus.
• Experienced in UX design is a plus.
• Ability to make decisions based on critical thinking and creative problem solving.
• Experienced working on applications used by real users and are pragmatic in your approach.
• Team player mentality, pro-active, quality-minded and a positive attitude.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
• Mentoring fellow team members.

The Role:

In this role, the Front End Developer will work closely with product and the back end developers to create software that gathers user input and displays complex data to various users. This work spans the entire software development lifecycle from design, implementation, testing, bug fixing to release management.

As a member of a small tight knit agile team, members of the team frequently pick up and take on tasks outside of their main roles to further product and personal development. This role offers an individual the opportunity to expand upon their front end skills to move towards acquiring the skills of a full stack developer.

In this role you will be joining our Connected Transport team which is focused on delivering security products in the automotive, rail, industrial manufacturing and ev-charging space.
