in this role, you will provide a full range of support in developing, supporting and maintaining DoD organization’s web-based software applications.

Basic Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the web administration field will be considered
• 5+ years of experience with front-end development/client-side scripting
• Experience developing web applications, web sites, user interfaces and associated content
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, React, and REST API
• Knowledge in SharePoint/Drupal is desirable
• Understanding of web servers and CMS
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills.

• Experience with Agile development
• DoD system development experience preferred
• Secret Security Clearance

Front End Developer

Provides full range of support in developing, supporting and maintaining DoD organization’s web-based software applications. Responsible for implementing visual elements that are visible from the computer user’s vantage point within a web application and/or SharePoint application. Combines the art of design with the science of programming. Translates UI/UX design ideas into actual code. Provides technical administration for the public facing website for DoD organization. Tasks include:

• Develop new user facing features
• Write reusable code and libraries
• Validate input before submitting to back end
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Define how applications look and how work
