Front End Developer at FlipX

In this role, you will have ownership and creative freedom to set the direction of the UI. We are building a SaaS platform that will include a lot of UI flows typical of what you would find in a SaaS app

• Experience working with a modern JS framework
• Comfortable working with CSS/Saas/Less and Bootstrap
• Experience working with Oauth 2.0 and implementing authentication logic
• You are familiar with microservices architecture
• You have experience operating and maintaining production UIs in a public cloud environment [preferred not required].
• You are familiar with infrastructure management concepts.
• Experience with UX/UI design [preferred not required]
• Understand basic SEO principles
• You are a team player who enjoys new challenges and working on cutting edge technologies
• You have experience with UI testing (acceptance/integration/unit testing)
• Comfortable working in a remote environment

About the role

You will help design, prototype, and implement core features while ensuring the scalability and stability of the FlipX platform. Being a young project, FlipX’s development area is broad and deep. We’re working to develop a user interface that is both desktop and mobile friendly. In this role, you will have ownership and creative freedom to set the direction of the UI.  We are building a SaaS platform that will include a lot of UI flows typical of what you would find in a SaaS app

In this role, you can expect to

• Technical ownership of the UI platform and strategy
• Guide the technical approach and architecture of FlipX UI’s
• Provide code review, mentorship, and support to FlipX employees
• Apply technical knowledge for Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 applications
• Discuss and work with the backend team to implement new features
• Work with HashiCorp products such as Terraform, and Vault,
• Work on the AWS cloud computing platform
• Ability to accept feedback and implement new solutions based on feedback
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to support the UI development
• Program mostly in Javascript
