Front-End Developer at Cognitive Space

You will be part of our product team developing user interfaces for web-based tools that manage satellite operations. You have professional experience building components, data visualizations, and/or maps UIs.

Skills & requirements

• US Citizenship required.
• 2+ years of proven professional experience in Javascript.
• Proven experience in VueJS.
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency with APIs.
• Proficiency in writing tests.
• Experience with data visualizations, 3D, map UIs is a plus (mapbox, cesiumjs, three.js)
• Proficiency with Linux development environment.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical people.
• Ability to work in a team and work collaboratively on complex tasks.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and develop products for a highly technical field.
• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

Description

You are an expert in JavaScript and interested in building intelligent space systems to modernize satellite operations. You will be part of our product team developing user interfaces for web-based tools that manage satellite operations. You have professional experience building components, data visualizations, and/or maps UIs. You will also:

• Explore and visualize aerospace data.
• Collaborate with aerospace domain experts, and software developers to understand customer needs, and produce excellent products.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve the usability
• Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
