DevSecOps Engineer at Set Solutions

Set Solutions is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to work remotely. The right candidate for the role is highly motivated by architecting and solving complex technical projects and seeing them come to completion.

Basic Qualifications

• · Strong understanding of and experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, etc.
• · Experience using SAST and DAST tools for application security testing
• Services;
• · 3+ years experience with infrastructure as code frameworks like You can fill these in
• · Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases like Redis, MySQL, Graph and Document
• Databases,
• · Experience with modern, SOA and micro-services. You prefer asynchronous communication amongst services and are experienced using message queues;
• · 7+ years of software engineering or operations experience;
• · 3+ years experience with software provisioning and configuration tools like Ansible;
• · Experience conforming to data privacy regulations
• · 3+ years experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure;

Preferred Qualifications

• · Automation and DevSecOps Pipeline tools: Automation- Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Terrarform, Cloud Formation

Description

Set Solutions is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to work remotely. The right candidate for the role is highly motivated by architecting and solving complex technical projects and seeing them come to completion. Core responsibilities include planning, organizing, and supporting agile project teams to deliver projects to completion. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering leaders, and product managers to execute high-impact technical projects.

Job Responsibilities Include

• · Work closely with other developers to enhance infrastructure, improve reliability, and efficiency;
• · Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system;
• · Be a hands-on contributor and IaC code reviewer;
• · Mentor junior engineers, evangelize good security habits and secure development practices;
• · Set then raise the bar, and contribute to best practices for all engineers;
• · Support team’s Azure upgrade/migration efforts;
• · Responsible for static and dynamic testing of applications
• · Streamline the build and deploy pipelines in Azure for the backend team, frontend team, and data team;
• · Ensure least privilege access to our system and a zero-trust environment prevails;
• · Lead infrastructure architecture definition and alignment across Engineering teams;
• · Design and implement infrastructure as code to programmatically build the client platform
• - with a focus on SaaS;
• · Take true ownership of our infrastructure, networking, and security;
• · Provide hands-on technical expertise and support in general DevOps tasks. Responsible for defining and implementing the build, deployment and monitoring standards for this customer;
• · A part of Agile development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment;
• · Build and configure delivery environments supporting CD/CI tools using an Agile delivery methodology;
• · Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks;
• · Working closely with our development team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system;
• · Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution;
• · Monitor and support all installed systems and infrastructure;
• · Develop custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks;
• · Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems;
• · Organize the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, acting proactively;
• · Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools;
• · Oversee the company’s security, backup, and redundancy strategies;
• · Evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of developers

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
