You Have:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 4 years of experience in DevOps, SRE or similar function
• Strong Terraform skills
• A background in EKS or Kubernetes and containers
• Experience with AWS administration
• Able to create IAM and RBAC solutions end to end
• experience with observability tools, and alerting as a pathway for problem solving
• A solid understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting and administration
• Knowledge of an object oriented or functional programming language (Python preferred)
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure networking and security
• Experience administering the services required for software development & delivery; source code control, analysis and coverage, object repositories, monitoring & alerting.
• Experience troubleshooting issues on a remote distributed system

Axoni’s DevSecOps team is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s corporate cloud infrastructure and security tooling, focused primarily on organizational-level operating standards and information security. They manage third-party and internally developed services running on these systems. They administer cloud accounts, manage IAM roles and related security policies, and ensure the success of delivery and developer teams, while also ensuring a best defense against security threats.

Axoni is seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer. The team develops and automates operational controls for our entire corporate cloud infrastructure. This includes our DevSecOps tools, commodity services, and network operations and security systems. They partner with related teams in IT, InfoSec and application development. The work relies heavily on using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for defining secure and resilient systems and processes. Clear communication and leadership are key qualities for success, where a common understanding of security and operational best practices is a requirement.

You Will:

• Tools for security, application development and customer delivery at the service and infrastructure level
• Operational controls and automation for corporate cloud compliance (e.g. AWS Config, SSM, CloudWatch)
• Operational controls and automation for security infrastructure (e.g. IAM, PKI) using IaC and related code development
• Kubernetes platform migration of hosted services from legacy orchestration systems
• Automation of third-party software onboarding and patch management
• Observability of user behavior, system functionality, security findings
• Delivery, to ensure security and operational objectives are met
• InfoSec, delivering information and automating solutions and remediations
• IT, granting role-based access, following the principle of least privilege
• Application Development, giving them the tools they need and guidance for the tools and services they use
• Product Owners, advocating for security, reliability, scalability, efficiency, compliance
