We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our team.


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in building or supporting complex software systems.
  • Experience building tools for the use of internal teams for deployment, testing, reliability, security, and observability.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP network management and troubleshooting.
  • Strong coding skills in a scripting language like Bash or Python.
  • Familiarity with Linux system administration.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and orchestration tools (Docker, LXC, AWS, Azure, GCP, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • An ideal candidate would have intermediate level coding skill in Go, Java, C, C++, or other statically typed languages.
  • An ideal candidate would also have a string working knowledge of RedHat Enterprise Linux based systems, and the RPM packaging and repository system.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our team.

Job Summary

Imprivata Customer Connect and Enterprise Access offers a highly available and performant connectivity framework that uses SSH (secure shell) to create a connectivity platform for remote support. The appliance also offers advanced auditing capabilities and centralized management for remote access.

Our product is mission-critical to our customers and our success depends on our ability to evolve our product to satisfy new customers while improving stability and maintaining security and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improving product quality and performance.
  • Provide tools and build solutions that reduce bottlenecks and allow other teams to move faster.
  • Work with engineers and stakeholders across the company to build new features and constantly improve our customer experience and operation.
  • Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
  • Responsible for extending, expanding, and integrating the latest changes and developments in the platforms our customers use.

Working Conditions

This is a desk / computer related job which requires the employee to be available via Chat, Video Conference, and/or Email throughout the workday.
