We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to facilitate the integration of a recently acquired application to my client’s global platform.


Qualifications for the DevOps Engineer include:

  • 5+ years hands on technical experience with cloud technology; AWS preferred, Azure/GCP or OpenStack good alternatives
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other comparable containerization
  • Hands on experience with Automation/DevOps tools (such as Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Chef, Puppet)
  • Strong problem solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Ability to analyze a high volume of technical data and work in a fast-paced environment

Description

Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to facilitate the integration of a recently acquired application to my client’s global platform. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for providing hands on automation, CI/CD pipelining, and help to define infrastructure plans and activities.

Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer include:

  • Perform inventory of technical assets and capabilities (software, hardware, public cloud)
  • Facilitate the integration strategy and planning process with functional leaders, and teams
  • Creating the initial integration project milestones, interdependencies, and communication plans
  • Identifying and documenting architecture, deployment methods, customer service requests, change requests, incident management, change management, continuity management tech debt

Qualifications for the DevOps Engineer include:

5+ years hands on technical experience with cloud technology; AWS preferred, Azure/GCP or OpenStack good alternatives

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other comparable containerization

Hands on experience with Automation/DevOps tools (such as Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Chef, Puppet)

Compensation for the DevOps Engineer include:

Salary Range: $125,000-150,000 base for direct-hire slots

Hourly Rate Range: $60-75/hr W2 for contract slots
