DevOps Engineer at Karsun Solutions, LLC

Karsun is seeking a DevOps Engineer to participate in building secure cloud infrastructures for our federal customers.

Required:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline
• 5 years of build management engineering and DevOps
• 5+ years of DevSecOps experience including setting up CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience running large scale online systems built on AWS or similar cloud providers
• 3+ years of build automation experience through Jenkins
• 1+ year(s) of experience with containerization (OpenShift, Docker, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure As a Code usng scripting languages such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience working with open source monitoring and metrics tools
• Full end-to-end understanding of CI/CD pipeline and how to assess them from a security point of view
• Experience with both Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing methodologies and tools
• Ability to employ best practices in an enterprise scale continuous delivery environment and harden production deployments
• Strong understanding of security concepts, best practices and how to apply them, such as SSH, public key encryption, access credentials, certificates, TLS, data encryption
• US citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance

What You Will Do:

• Building secure cloud infrastructures using the latest networking, virtualization, automation, and configuration management tools.
• Deploying enterprise applications in container platform in the cloud, incorporating automation, security, resiliency, and reliability
• Provisioning AWS services and container platform using automation scripts
• Managing container and cloud platforms incorporating security best practices
• Creating automated CI/CD pipelines and automating all aspects of infrastructure

In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the proposed salary range for this position is $98,000 to $126,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience and certifications.
