Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory and Consul.
  • Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations.
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Able to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment up to 30 pounds or more.

Preferred:

  • Familiar with Containerization Management experience (Kubernetes and Docker).
  • Familiar using Veracode.
  • Familiar working in Agile Release Management Tools.
  • Familiar using Cyberark and Conjur.
  • Familiar using Selenium.
  • Familiar with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL, MySQL), CI/CD tools, scripting. such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies.

Description

The DevOps Engineer primary responsibility will be to work with a Sr DevOps engineer to help develop, test, and deliver solutions on the DevOps enablement team. As part of the team, you will be assisting with the buildout of automated tools and frameworks and help develop and maintain the CI/CD pipelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Buildout of CI/CD pipelines for Healthfirst applications.
  • Sit in on calls with a Sr DevOps engineer and the development teams to understand pipeline requirements.
  • Test implemented designs.
  • Assist the SR DevOps engineer to monitor metrics and develop ways to improve on our DevOps processes.
  • Assist in Onboarding of CI/CD Pipelines to the development teams.
  • Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages.
  • Maintain, and monitor configuration standards.
  • Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects.
  • Document and design various processes around DevOps; update existing processes.
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the organization.

Familiar with AWS components such as SAM, lambda, API gateway, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, RedShift, IAM, SSM, Secrets Manager, and DynamoDB.

Hiring Range*:

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $104,700 - $151,300

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $94,700 - $140,845

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
