As a Developer, you will assist with ongoing development, maintenance, and support of web applications, advanced structured query language (SQL), vendor applications, and internal/external APIs.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field, accredited bootcamp, or real-world development experience
• Experience in the creation of software applications and processes
• Up to 2 years authoring code using an object-oriented programming language such as C#, or scripting languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with front-end tools such as Vue.js, ReactJS, AngularJS, Svelte, and Ionic.
• Up to 2 years of experience working with SQL databases
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
• Understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong customer focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and priorities
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills
• Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues with assistance and guidance

Essential Job Functions

• Design, implement, and maintain full-stack software solutions for internal and external projects using Service-Oriented Architecture using the Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, and REST APIs
• Implement and maintain front-end applications based on Vue.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ASP.NET MVC
• Design, optimize, and query databases built in SQL Server, Oracle, and other databases
• Build dynamic reporting solutions using tools such as SSIS, PowerBI, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Excel, Word, and other reporting tools
• Work within all phases of an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Work with internal and/or external users to interpret and participate in the defining and validating the detailed business requirements for the project
• Participate in application design processes to meet the requirements
• Develop advanced applications and processes to meet the design specifications for web pages, user interface screens and reports as required in support of company operations
• Perform system tests to ensure applications and processes perform as expected with supervision
• Meet all deadlines throughout the process
• Assist other developers with designing and implementing solutions
• Prepare test data and analyze program performance during testing
• Assist end users in the development, usage and troubleshooting of web, database driven applications
• Participate in analysis of information systems problems and the development of applicable solutions

Work Hours

• This position can be based at corporate in Dubuque, IA, or remote.
• Full-time, salaried position, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Some travel may be required.
