We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will manage infrastructure projects and processes to enhance CI / CD as well as production monitoring, scaling and security.

  • Minimum 2 years' previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field using AWS
  • Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript and Python
  • Up-to-date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

Partner in Publishing is searching for a Dev Ops Engineer (Development and Operations Engineer) on behalf of our client, provider of an award-winning AI-powered tutor that is able to listen to young children read out loud, assess their mastery and deliver 1:1 personalized tutoring. Already at work in 48 states and 6 countries, the product is accelerating reading mastery for struggling readers.

The role is fully remote, within the continental US.

About this role:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will manage infrastructure projects and processes to enhance CI / CD as well as production monitoring, scaling and security. Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base are essential. This is an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in scrum ceremonies (planning, standups, exits, retrospectives) on a weekly basis
  • Work directly with the development team
  • Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
  • Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
  • Handle code deployments in all environments
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
  • Enhance and Manage CI and CD tools with team
  • Document and design various processes; update existing processes
  • Improve infrastructure development and application development
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company
