What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physical science, information management or business administration field.
• 0 - 5 years of applicable experience.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Highly skillful in developing data queries, data analysis, presentation and MS Office products, such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Experience in data analysis tools, such as MS Access, MS Excel, MS SQL Server.
• Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Data Analyst to join our team! In this role you will develop and run data queries to answer questions related to program performance and present the data and charts with the format that best explain the status of those programs.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Data analysis for large engineering program management (environmental, construction, financial, project/program management). The program management data may include the cost, schedule, projects, contracts, risks, etc.
• Support the program data reporting – using existing or developing new query tools (MS Access, MS Excel) to generate data reports to meet specific requirements in content, format and business rules.
• Perform program data quality review, program status analysis, prepare data analysis reports, present findings to the clients, and recommend solutions for solving the data issues.
• Assist in program data management for data inputs to program data management systems.
• Interpret the program data reporting requirements and communicate with the data owners at all levels.
• Analyze the data management and data reporting requirements and provide inputs and design to improve program data management systems.
• Perform other duties related to program management support.
