About Mandolin

Mandolin Digital is a 3-year-old digital agency based in Chicago.  We’re a team of 5 full-time staff, plus 4+ reliable, dependable freelancers.  We work with large corporate clients and specialize in creating user-friendly designs that are both creative and polished.  We are currently looking for a senior level, part-time, contract UX/UI designer to join our team.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop user-friendly designs quickly and creatively

• Utilize brand standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and approval

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all designs meet project requirements

• Create and deliver high-quality design assets on time

• Revise and improve designs based on feedback from team members and clients

• Advocate for the user by prioritizing their needs and preferences throughout the design process

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve your design skills and knowledge of UX/UI best practices

This is a part-time, contract position with an expected workload of 10-15 hours per week, starting almost immediately.  We are looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term relationship with our agency.
