• 2+ years of experience with C language;
• Linux kernel coding experience;
• Experience programming C without stdlib;
• Experience writing code that compiles against both amd64 and arm64.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with docker containers;
• Coding I/O in C against Linux syscalls without stdlib.

About the role

At Lumigo we strive to provide the most automated seamless experience for monitoring serverless and containerized applications. There are techniques for injecting tracers and collecting telemetry that require coding against LibC and Kernel Syscalls, and the recent emergence of eBPF as a way to collect telemetry at Kernel level provides interesting possibilities we want to investigate. To aid us in these efforts, we look for a C Developer with experience in working in the depths of Linux.

Responsibilities:

• Developing our instrumentation code for AWS ECS container based applications;
• Research the eBPF technology;
• Developing the LD_PRELOAD library for process monitoring.
