Backend Engineer at VideoAmp

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll be involved in the development, testing, and deployment of our measurement platform. This platform provides our clients with disruptive insights into how their television and digital advertising is valued, transacted and measured.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Fluency with one or more mainstream programming languages. Go and Python are preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience with or a desire to develop large scale data processing pipelines using Spark and/or SQL, or distributed service-oriented systems using gRPC and Go
• Debug and trace issues across multiple application modules and services as needed
• Collaborate with peers across the entire range of development activities that includes distilling engineering designs from product requirements, development of work plans, build consensus, implementation, testing, productization, monitoring, and maintenance
• B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, or similarly technical field preferred. Advanced degree is a plus
