We are seeking a Back-End Web Developer to join our web development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side operation and functionality of the website.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with languages such as Java, PHP, MySQL, and SQL.
  • Expert proficiency in at least three of the following: JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
  • Experience with the design and implementation of APIs
  • Experience and understanding of HubSpot suite of services.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools such as GitHub and SVN.
  • Track record of successfully managing multiple company or customer websites
  • Excellent time-management and communication skills


Description

The Role:

We are seeking a Back-End Web Developer to join our web development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side operation and functionality of the website. Your main tasks will include developing and maintaining our database layer, APIs, and other web services as well as server maintenance and upkeep. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in modern programming languages such as Java, and JavaScript.

In This Role You Will:

  • Be proficient in server-side development and optimization of data, including database creation and management and debugging
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Create and analyze reliable and secure back-end functionality
  • Maintain, expand, and scale our website(s)
  • Remain knowledgeable of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and web designers to match visual design intent
  • Help to facilitate and maintain HubSpot marketing and technical products including connectors.
