Back End Software Engineer at Concentrix

As a Back End Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our text analytics solutions by using cutting edge technologies like generative AI and LLMs.

Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of experience in back end technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Python programming and writing/maintaining performant APIs
• Solid understanding of big data analytics and experience working with relevant tools and frameworks like Data Lake, Delta Lake and Databricks
• Knowledge and experience using generative AI technologies like ChatGPT
• Proficient in microservice architecture and using containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Azure and/or Google cloud platforms
• Proven experience working in an Agile development environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Self-motivated, with a passion for learning new technologies and a desire to share knowledge with others

We're looking for a talented Back Endk Software Engineer to join a remote Agile team and help us take our technology to the next level by applying your knowledge of best practices for managing data and building performant APIs.

As a Back End Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our text analytics solutions by using cutting edge technologies like generative AI and LLMs. You'll be working on a collaborative and passionate Agile team, sharing your expertise in web application development. Our application is primarily Python and Typescript with an Elasticsearch and Postgres back end. We are looking for a back end developer who can help us further mature and execute our back end data strategy and build performant APIs. Ideally, the perfect candidate would also have experience working with generative AI and big data analytics to help us meet our upcoming objectives. Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the back end data storage and services behind our web applications using Python, Elasticsearch, Postgres and Databricks technologies
• Implement text analytics solutions for processing and analyzing big data
• Participate in the full Agile development cycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize application performance to ensure scalability and reliability
• Proactively identify and address technical debt and architecture improvements
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, incorporating them into your work when appropriate
