Back End Developer at Whereoware

Whereoware is hiring a Back End Developer to lead our expanded technology practice and drive its growth and evolution across an exciting roster of existing and new clients

You Are Great At:

• Design, develop, and maintain Ecommerce applications in the Microsoft .NET environment using the Optimizely application framework
• Write and implement queries / views / procedures in database systems using code first migrations
• Design and engineer online solutions using ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server and C#

Must Have:

• 3+ years of demonstrated job experience working with .NET building consumer facing digital experiences
• 1+ years of SQL development experience skills
• Experience working in a professional services organization
• Experience with CMS and Commerce systems such as Sitecore or Optimizely
• Optimizely experience and prior implementations are a huge plus
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Development stack and front end frameworks
• Previous employment with a software development or software agency organization a must
• Track record of thinking strategically, innovating, acting with integrity and exceeding client expectations
• Prior software design and development experience required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, although relevant experience will be considered

Nice to Have:

• Experience with a CMS or e-commerce platform, particularly Optimizely

This is an extremely visible, high impact role with responsibility for growth and delivery of all technical services. This role will play an integral part in the future direction and performance of Whereoware’s business, aligning business and technology goals to drive growth and optimization across the organization. This role is not only accountable for evolving current capabilities and the teams within, but also has a strategic lens toward the marketplace and evolution of services to ensure growth short and long term.
