Back End Developer at CaptionCall, LLC

We need one to Create clients, servers, and web-based APIs for cloud-based applications.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required*

• Working knowledge of web frameworks, at least one web development stack, APIs, databases, microservices, event-based architectures, and cloud infrastructure.
• Able to take on different roles and work across the stack both collaboratively and independently.
• Working knowledge of performance tuning, measurement, and experimentation systems.
• Professional experience with at least one common server language and scalable backend design.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, React, HTML, SQL, TypeScript, and Python is a plus.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and other security features is a plus.
• Working knowledge of machine learning, data science, speech and language processing, and Amazon Web Services is a plus.
• Agile software development methodology
• Ability to speak or sign and write effectively in English or ASL.

Experience/Education/Certifications*

• 2-5 years of experience in software development.
• Professional experience developing software using Python and JavaScript.
• BS Degree in CS, CE, or equivalent with excellent grades.

Other General Requirements/Additional Notes

• Must be able to work at a computer for a full workday.
• Must be able to use a keyboard and mouse, or equivalent.
• Must be able to view a computer monitor.
• This position will be a remote/in-office hybrid.
• A team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal communication skills who can work across company departments.
