AWS Developer at Infosys
Remote opportunity for an AWS Developer, who has experience with Python, and who is looking to further enhance their skills as well as gain invaluable experience within public sector consulting.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of AWS development and deployment experience.
- Experience in the following AWS Products, Services, and Tools: S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudFront, CDK, ECR, ECS, IAM, SNS, SQS, KMS, VPC, CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Experience in NoSQL databases, Kafka Topic Messages, and container software and application management, i.e., Docker and Kubernetes.
- Python design and development experience using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns.
- Proven experience deploying Webservice on AWS.
- Proficiency in JavaScript.
- Knowledge of GIT.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. Candidate's that have completed a Master’s degree program strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Public sector experience
- Experience with MarkLogic
- Agile methodology and Scrum.
- Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Remote opportunity for an AWS Developer, who has experience with Python, and who is looking to further enhance their skills as well as gain invaluable experience within public sector consulting.
You will have 2+ years of AWS development and deployment experience, be passionate about learning new technologies and enjoy a collaborative team environment. Ideally you will reside in eastern or central time zone locations, however, candidates within the continental US, who are willing to support east coast clients, will be considered.
The AWS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high performance mission critical applications to meet the company’s strategic objectives. The candidate will have in-depth knowledge of technologies involved and SDLC models. You will:
Develop an in-depth understanding of Python architecture and frameworks.
Maintain and contribute to product platform as necessary.
Maintain and support products that are released to stakeholders and customers.
Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen technology platform and development practices.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
