What You Have:

• 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interest in learning about Fintech
• Excellent analytical skills
• An entrepreneurial attitude with a strong desire to be an early and integral piece of a fast growing start-up
• An eagerness, willingness and ability to learn about mortgage capital markets and Polly’s software offerings
• Strong interest in the software development lifecycle, focusing on software testing.
• Highly motivated, resilient and a tenacious passion for winning
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience with a browser automation UI tool written in Javascript
• Bash or Shell scripting and some experience with Python
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Circle CI experience preferred
• Troubleshooting applications and test related issues. Kibana experience preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Review business requirementsImplement and design automated test cases
• Work on implementing automation frameworks
• Execute tests cases and analyze test results
• Report, document, and track resolutions for software defects identified in the testing process using approved tools and processes
• Attend business requirement walkthroughs
• Attend daily standup calls
• Conduct test plan walkthroughs
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers
• There may be meetings that require in person attendance occasionally
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Provide input into overall test strategies
• Scripting API tests
