APM Observability Engineer at Rackspace

We are looking for one who is Experienced with real user monitoring and customer digital experience

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with real user monitoring and customer digital experience
• Experience in the monitoring space (APM, Digital Experience, Tracing, AIOps, Infrastructure, Logging)
• Strong understanding of Security, Monitoring and Performance aspects of cloud-native platform and application architectures.
• Setup APM for languages: Java, .NET, NodeJS, Python, Ruby, PHP or Golang
• End-user technologies: iOS, Android, JavaScript, HTML5, video players
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry, Docker / Kubernetes
• A clear understanding of network & system Management solutions
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication, critical thinking & analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and implement Observability solutions with New Relic, Datadog or AppDynamics
• Implement the next-gen Solutions for distributed systems at scale for our large and complex enterprise customers undergoing significant changes in their organizations
• Ensure the success of significant deployments like Cloud Migrations and Digital Transformations for major corporations through effective full stack monitoring
• Lead the adoption, optimization, and integration of our products within customers’ business infrastructure
• Evangelize new product features & provide customer feedback to product management and engineering groups
• Assist the Customer Success team in the post-sales technical process: installation, deployment, training, technical check-ups, and escalation management
• Maintain a deep understanding of the customer’s business as well as their technical environment
• Identifying performance bottlenecks, identifying anomalous system behavior, and resolving root cause of service issues
