Piper Companies is seeking a remote Android Software Engineer to join a next-gen company as a full-time permanent, internal employee.

Qualifications of the Android Software Engineer Include:

• 2+ years of Software Engineering working closely with Android and Kotlin/Java
• Preferred Experience in data interchange formats such as; Protobuf, Websockets, XML, JSON, etc.), network/transmission protocols, Github/GitLab, Android NDK (C/C++, ARM), RaptorX SDKs, Python, Docker, machine learning, web-based data visualization, and Jetpack APIs
• Preferred Experience in Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK), embedded technologies, wearables, loT devices, or drone technology
• Due to company cliental, United States citizenship in mandatory

Other (Preferred) Qualifications of the Android Software Engineer:

• Experience in embedded system development such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or UAV/UGV Drones
• Understanding of Jira/Confluence
• Experience in system architecture

Description

Piper Companies is seeking a remote Android Software Engineer to join a next-gen company as a full-time permanent, internal employee. The Android Software Engineer will support neurological based communication through AI to construct human intent wearables.

Responsibilities of the Android Software Engineer include:

• Collaborate with team members to build and design products that align with company’s vision and provide value to the end users
• Effectively communicate and articulate design changes to the developers
• Work on projects across copious frameworks and languages using Android SDK and NDK to promote human computer interaction
• Cross-functionally collaborate with team of designers, developers, data scientists, and user researchers to examine patterns and trends to identify new opportunities and improve performance of product
• Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and encourage creative solutions

Salary Range: $120,000-140,000 plus bonuses **depending on experience**
