Job Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin – 4+ years
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose – 3 years
• Proficiency with Android Studio and deep knowledge of the Android SDK – 4+ years
• Thorough understanding and use of automated testing of Android code and Android applications
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple other teams
• Uphold Company values, practices, and C.A.R.D. culture
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable about professional sporting industry (NBA, NFL, MLB etc.) is a plus.
• Interested in learning about the trading card industry.

Job Description

COMC is looking to hire a Senior Android Developer. The Senior Android Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Android application(s) written in Kotlin. The ideal candidate will be a team player, familiar with collaboration tools and practices when working on software development team in an agile environment. Android Developers are expected to have and maintain a current skill set using up-to-date best practices and patterns.

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to on-going software development effort on day-to-day basis
• Participate in peer-review process for code of team members on projects assigned
• Collaborate with program managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver value to the business
• Participate in agile ceremonies and occasional meetings when needed related to software features currently being worked on
• Approximately 80% active software development time, 20% time in meetings and other tasks

Work Location

Preferred Location – Can be either Remote or onsite in Washington state.

Opportunity for Remote work – This can either be an onsite role in WA or remote anywhere in the United States.
