KEY SKILLS:
- Great knowledge of Linux OS (Centos, Ubuntu)
- Experience in working with MySQL/MS SQL/Percona
- Have good knowledge of monitoring tools: PMM, Nagios
- Strong experience with SQL server, from schema design to
writing queries
- Experience with Shell or Python Scripting
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a
scalable application
- Have knowledge of advanced concepts in MySQL
- Understanding of storage engines such as InnoDB and
MyISAM
- Understanding the performance, availability, and security
of MySQL DB
- Experience in installing and maintaining the performance
of database servers
- Working with Percona Toolkits such as pt -slave-restart, pttable-checksum, and pt-table-sync
- Creating different types of replications in MySQL server
- Implementation of ACID transaction and knowledge of how
it works internally
- Making full and incremental backups
- Advanced experience in a popular Python framework
Django
- Able to maintain and debug existing Python projects, create
documentation for users
- A strong understanding of relational database concepts and
SQL
- Experienced with distributed version control systems such
as GitHub
- Familiarity of Virtual machines such as VirtualBox
- Working with Package Managers like apt, yum
- Ability to work with programming languages: C#,
JavaScript, and understanding of C/C++
