I'm a Senior Fullstack Developer (Python + Web) with 14+ years of experience. And I'm looking for a remote job!
What can I do:
- write the code that a junior will easily support
- and do it on time
- and it'll actually go to production
- and it'll really be working in production for several years, still being maintainable
- and the architecture will be thought through in advance
- and if the refactoring is needed, it'll be done before it's too late
- and there will be good test coverage if possible. And sometimes even if it's not
- and I'll provide feedback the very moment something goes wrong
- and if you need a team player, I can be a linear developer, or a team lead, simultaneously or switch roles
- and if you need a solo developer, I'll just write code and fuss about the bus factor
- and I know how to conduct an interview (70+ and yes, I count them)
- and I mentor juniors and interns (no, them I don't count, dunno why)
- and I maintain CI/CD in my projects when there're no DevOps, but I'll eagerly handle it to them
- oh, and I write understandable commit messages and can explain why it's important to do so
- and I keep it simple. Though not short :-)
What can't I do:
- spend more time talking than coding
- mentor dumb interns. Sorry
- insist on my vision when it's actually not important
- write bad code. At least, you'll have to persuade me to
- stop being paranoid, so no "deploy and pray" on my shift!
