My name is Micheal John Kareko and I have journeyed to this moment from the hallowed grounds of Nairobi, Kenya, where I spent my formative years amid wild dreams of achieving greatness by becoming a renowned footballer. As I’ve hung up my soccer boots in favor of business shoes, those dreams have evolved into a desire to achieve greatness in a different arena. Today, my dream centers on helping companies leverage market ecosystems to propel their operations into the future, providing unparalleled customer service and delivery, with an operational efficiency to match. I am writing to express my interest in being resourceful and productive as it has always been my age-long ambition to become an economic analyst to government parastatals and private companies across the globe.
Thanks to my swift progress of my B.Sc. Financial Economics at Moi University, it is glaring that studying and doing research are endeavors I would like to engage in even more. Benefiting from the broad nature of economics, I did a research on Macroeconomic Variables and Nairobi Security Exchange Stock Share Prices. More so, I have been exposed to an extensive range of subjects as well as acquiring essential skills of systematic research, analytical thinking and information evaluation. Currently, I am pursuing Masters Tax and Customs Kenya School of Revenue Administration in partnership with Moi University.
I believe that there is no better place to continue my academic career in Economics than at Kenya School of Revenue Administration. I consider it a very rich experience to get opportunity to meet students from all over the East Africa and learn about their culture and values. I am diligent and highly motivated student; while studying and working. I did not fail any exam or fail to submit my assignment in time neither did I fail to report on time or fail to complete my task. I am certain to push through with the dedication I have always worked with to accomplish my goals and gain more knowledge and insight into economics, finance and data analytics. Considering my academic performance and work ethics so far and my desire to enrich mine and others knowledge in practice, I am convinced that I will be a valuable addition to organizations.
