By way of introduction, my name is Armand Torsarkissian, and I graduated from the Lebanese American University in Lebanon where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance. Managerial Finance, Banking Operations, Security and Portfolio Analysis and Financial Institutions are examples of modules that I have completed during my university studies. I pursued my Master’s degree in Management at the university of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

During my university years, I joined the family business at Liban Freeze as a Junior Supply Chain Manager for 2 years during which I managed the supply chain from importing the product to selling it to the end consumer. This process included designing, and implementing systems to streamline supply chain management.

I started my career in banking since June 2018 by joining Bank of Beirut headquarters in Lebanon as an Assistant Relationship Manager in the corporate department. At Bank of Beirut, I am responsible for supporting corporate banking management and marketing teams through credit analysis and coordination with clients. This also includes solving operational and transactional issues, to ensure proper service to corporate clients. Moreover, I support team members with credit proposals as well as preparing sales materials and proposals. In addition, I’m responsible for reporting corporate clients based on their payment status. I also prepare periodic reports, special projects and studies that are delivered on a timely and accurate basis.

To add to the above, I’m responsible for my own professional learning and development at work. In addition to being fluent in Arabic, English, French and Armenian, I have good command of written and spoken Spanish. I am someone who constantly develops myself both at the personal and professional level.

I hold dual citizenship, Canadian and Lebanese and I am currently located in Beirut, Lebanon.

I hope the above shows my experience and the skills sets I have which will hopefully render me as a potentially strong candidate for the position. I look forward to further elaborating my skills and expertise in an interview.

Thank you for considering my application. Yours Sincerely,

Armand Torsarkissian.
