Hello, I'm André Ramos, a Portuguese Information Technology.
My journey began as a Customer Care Assistant for Anacom and later for Portugal Telecom, where I developed strong interpersonal and communication skills. Working in customer-centric environments prepared me for the importance of empathy and providing exceptional service – qualities that are essential in collaborating effectively within a team.
Seeking new life experiences, I ventured to the United Kingdom, where I gained international exposure and worked for eight months. This enriching opportunity broadened my horizons, expanded my adaptability, and promoted a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives. Such experiences have equipped me with the flexibility to approach challenges with creativity and adapt to ever-changing technological landscapes.
Upon returning to Portugal, I pursued my passion for technology by enrolling in Information Technology studies at Faculdade de Ciências of Lisbon. Throughout my academic journey, I demonstrated a relentless drive for knowledge and a commitment to improving my skills through dedicated coursework. During my degree, I joined Enter.Mix as an IT Support Analyst and IT Field Engineer, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the IT domain. This opportunity allowed me to bridge the gap between theory and practice, solidifying my passion for technology and enhancing my problem-solving abilities.
Completing my degree in 2022, I am eager to translate my skills into practical solutions and make a meaningful impact in the tech industry. Having recently achieved the Azure Fundamentals Microsoft Certification, I have a solid cloud technology foundation.
