QA Automation Engineer at OneHome

We need one to Work closely with engineering to automate regression and production test cases.

What you need to succeed:

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Experience with C# Selenium
• Software development exposure and passion to grow as a developer
• Self-starter motivated to build new automated test foundation
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Direct experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience with writing and querying databases using T-SQL
• Experience with Visual Studio or VS Code IDE
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with testing web-based applications and RESTful API’s
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Experience with Zephyr and/or Microsoft Azure Dev Ops is a plus.

Onehome is looking for a QA Automation Engineer.

Job Summary:

Our QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for automating the testing of the engineering platform. This role will provide visibility to the organization regarding system health and application quality.

What to expect in your role:

• Work closely with engineering to automate regression and production test cases.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Build architecture framework for automated testing foundation.
• Facilitate test case notifications where failures are meaningful, and the group is proactively alerted when environments are in distress.
• Coach developers and testers on automated testing.
• Track quality assurance metrics.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
